A Zebra escaped a trailer at a Love’s truck stop while its owner was refueling

A Zebra was on the loose after escaping its trailer at a Tennessee truck stop on Tuesday.

The incident happened early morning on January 23rd in Columbia, Tennessee, a city known for being the “Mule Capitol of the World.”

Acording to Fox 17, The zebra, named Marty, escaped its trailer as the owner was refueling at the Love’s on Bear Creek Pike, and wandered onto a grassy median.

Police were then called to assist the owner in capturing Marty, and the zebra was soon returned to his trailer.

The owner of the zebra, whose identity has not been released, says that the two will now continue on their way to their ranch in Florida.
