Cincinnati firefighters helped rescued two car occupants from a serious crash with a semi truck on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash took place on the afternoon of July 8 on I-71 in Mount Auburn, Ohio.
A car and a semi truck were involved in a collision in the northbound lanes of the interstate that resulted in the car become lodged under the truck’s trailer.
According to Cincy Fire & EMS, two people were rescued from the heavily damaged car and taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Drivers should expect significant delays on northbound I-71 as crews work to clean up the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
