The Cheyenne Police Department (CPD) is seeking public help in locating a suspect who used a semi truck in a recent Automated Teller Machine (ATM) theft attempt.
On February 24, 2026, CPD called for help in solving an attempted ATM theft that occurred at Chase Bank located at 3502 Dell Range Boulevard in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Police say a suspect tried to use a white semi truck without a rear license plate to yank the ATM from its foundation.
The ATM was damaged, but no cash was stolen.
The incident is under investigation by CPD and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by Silent Witness Laramie County for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect.
