The Walmart shopper that told news reporters that she fears for her daughters life because of tired truck drivers, recently posted a response after she received tons of negative feedback once the story went viral in the trucking community..

In her response, she mentions that her father was a truck driver and the news station took her words out of context and edited it to sound more malicious than it was. See her entire response below.
Some commenters have debated the validity of her apology, claiming that she just posted the message to get people off her back. Whether she’s being authentic or not, sending threats towards her or her family are way out of line and something we definitely don’t condone.
In order to improve the image of truck drivers, it’s important we act professionally under all circumstances.
