Truck driver extricated after semi truck ROLLS near North Carolina bridge

Multiple agencies responded to a serious rollover semi truck crash early Monday morning in North Carolina.

The crash occurred in the early morning hours of April 27, 2026, along US 13 at the Winton Bridge near Eure, North Carolina.

The Eure Volunteer Fire Department said that a semi truck overturned, leaving the truck driver trapped inside.

With help from the Winton Fire Department, the truck driver was extricated and transported to a hospital for treatment.

Firefighters did not release information on the driver’s identity or condition, but they did ask for “prayers for the driver.”
