A truck driver hauling coils survived a load shift that left the cab of a semi truck with significant damage.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of April 15, 2026, on Alcoa Highway at North Wright Road in Alcoa, Tennessee.
According to local reports, an aluminum coil being transported inside a trailer rolled forward and struck the rear of the cab of a semi truck.
The truck driver was not injured.
The incident resulted in a temporary closure to the northbound right lane of Alcoa Highway as crews worked to recover the truck.
The Alcoa Police Department said more updates would be provided when they become available.
