Most recently, the Florida Highway Patrol have added even more information on the bizarre happenings on Monday before the out of control log truck with a naked woman inside was reported.
The FHP are now adding that the driver, Shannon Sherrell Ford, 35, of Interlachen., was also pulled over just 2 hours before the horrific crash for an inspection.
The truck did receive several safety violations, but nothing that would require them taking it off the road. Just 2 hours later, that truck crashed into the back of the school bus carrying 15 students from Starke Elementary School. 7 of the 15 students were taken to the hospital.
The woman that was spotted to be inside the truck that day is Sherry Ford, 34, also of Interlachen. and wife to Shannon.
The truck was reported to be owned by Mo’s Trucking out of Palatka., FL.
Putnam County reports that the driver, Shannon Ford, was previously arrested 10 times for charges such as grand theft, burglary, domestic violence, and most recently shoplifting.
Charges against Ford are currently still pending for Monday’s crash.
