1. Is trucking an easy job? Absolutely not, but if you’re willing to work hard and stick with it, it’s pretty damn rewarding.
2. If you’re just starting out, look for a good company who that can help you get a CDL
3. Make sure the mattress has been changed in your truck, and brings things from your home to make your new truck feel more comfortable.
4. No, she won’t be your trainer.
5. If you’re an OTR driver you’ll get to travel the country, but you’ll spend most of your time alone (which can be a positive or a negative depending on how you look at it).
Bonus: Don’t get into dumb debt. (Most people can benefit from this one)
