A few months back we mentioned that Mercedes will be unveiling their new 2025 concept truck, well, the first images of their truck are here, and just as radical as we thought. There are many new features and technologies packed into the rig, but the real emphasis is on the safety.
Mercedes doesn’t feel that driving in 2025 will be without a wheel, but they certainly think that you will be able to invest your time doing other things.
A driver infrastructure will be doing most of the navigation and managing distances between other vehicles. Mercedes believes this new infrastructure will be operational in 10 years.
The new futuristic look equips you with all touchscreen interfaces, an office chair, and a recliner.
As for its equally radical exterior, Mercedes envisions a whole new body style for their concept. There is obviously much left to be said about this new look and we will certainly want to keep an eye on this in the years ahead.
