A semi truck hauling double trailers overturned earlier this week, spilling its load of gravel all over the road. The reason? A single bee in the cab.
According to Fox 40 in Sacramento, the driver lost control of his rig after he grabbed the bee in a tissue and threw it out the window on Pedrick Road near Davis, California on Thursday. He attempted to swerve back onto the road, but over-corrected, causing his rig to flip on its side.
The road was closed for several hours as clean up crews removed the spilled gravel. The driver was not injured in the accident. There was no word on the condition of the bee, but we presume it made it out unharmed as well.
