A raging motorist directed a machete and a blowtorch at a trucker as the two drove through California on Monday.
The incident happened on July 23rd at around 11:55 a.m. near Manteca, California.
According to the Manteca Bulletin, the C.R. England semi truck and motorist were traveling on Lathrop Road when the motorist cut in front of the semi truck in his pickup, brake checking the trucker twice and forcing him to slam on his brakes.
The pickup driver then waved a machete out of his window in the direction of the trucker, apparently threatening him, before eventually holding a blowtorch out of the same window and aiming it at the driver.
The two then came to a stop on North Main Street just south of Joseph Road and the motorist approached the tractor trailer, this time without any weapons, and tried to open the locked cab door.
When police arrived, the pickup driver fled the scene, but the truck driver was able to collect the motorist’s license plate number so police are working to identify the suspect.
