Remains Of Semi Truck Discovered At Bottom Of 200-Foot Cliff, Driver’s Body Found Inside Cab

Police in Hurricane, Utah received a call on Thursday when a man discovered what appeared to be the remains of a semi truck at the base of a 200-foot cliff.

Upon inspecting the wreckage, they confirmed that the body of a male driver was found inside the cab of the bobtail semi truck at the bottom of the ravine.

According to KCSG.com, the accident occurred on SR59 near a lookout area that had no guard rail.

People who knew the driver told police that he hadn’t been seen since last Saturday. Investigators believe the truck fell off the cliff several days earlier and had gone unnoticed.

The driver’s identity has not been released.
