One man is dead and another injured, after a shooting at a truck stop in Jessup, Maryland.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on Sunday, at a truck stop on the 7400 block of Assategue Drive.
Two men were shot — one died at the scene, and the other was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Their names were not revealed. Several reports indicate that the man who was killed was shot in the head.
According to NBC Washington, the shooter was an Asian male, wearing blue jeans and a blue jacket. He remains at large.
Police have advised drivers to avoid the area.
An investigation is underway.
Update (3/28/16):
The man responsible for the shooting was found dead less than 24 hours later, of an apparent suicide.
