Motorist u-turns on highway, pulls in front of semi

A motorist’s dangerous U-turn in the middle of a highway was caught on film by a trucker’s dash cam recently.

The video was posted by the Facebook account ‘Dashcams don’t lie’ and has already received over 100,000 views.

In the clip, a dark SUV can be seen cutting across a grassy median from the opposite side of the highway in an attempt to reach their exit.

The SUV then cuts across the lanes of traffic and pulls in front of the oncoming semi truck.

The big rig moves slightly to the right, but is unable to avoid the SUV and strikes the back of it, sending it bouncing off into the left lanes.

Upon watching the clip, viewers placed blame not only on the SUV, but on the trucker as well.

“Trucker could have avoided that better,” wrote Facebook user Derrick Haapala.

“Definitely SUV drivers fault,” added another.

“The van is a dumba** and the truck driver either wasn’t paying attention or hit him on purpose,” commented user Jake Alcaraz.
