115 pounds of marijuana were discovered inside the trunk of a car loaded onto an auto transport trailer in Nebraska recently.
The incident happened in North Platte, Nebraska on Wednesday, July 25th.
According to US News, the semi truck hauling cars stopped at a weigh-station when a trooper conduction inspections on the big rigs says he “became suspicious” for unspecified reasons. The trooper then searched on e of the vehicles on the trailer and discovered 115 pounds of marijuana in the trunk.
The drugs have an estimated street value of around $231,000.
Officials are still investigating the situation and it is not clear whether the unidentified truck driver has been charged in the incident.
