Several vehicles were impacted by concrete following a semi truck jackknife on a bridge, according to Pennsylvania firefighters.
The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. on January 19 in South Strabane Township, Pennsylvania.
According to the South Strabane Fire Department, “A tractor trailer jackknifed and struck the side of the bridge causing a significant section of concrete to fall on I-70 below. The falling concrete was struck by four vehicles, resulting in three additional incidents underneath.”
The vehicles that struck the fallen chunks of concrete included two SUVs, a pickup, and a semi truck.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
According to the Observer-Reporter, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation plow truck was brought in to remove the concrete debris from the interstate so the roadway could reopen.
