A video showing a road rage incident involving a Hummer and a semi truck has recently gone viral on social media.

The footage was uploaded by Facebook user Benjamin Rodriguez on July 12 and took place on Interstate 20 in the Midland-Odessa area in West Texas.

The footage shows a Hummer repeatedly pulling in front of a semi truck, and dangerously slowing down as the truck tries to pass.

After several unsuccessful attempts to pass the Hummer, the truck driver appears to grow frustrated and begins swerving back and forth between lanes, trying to get past the slow-moving vehicle.

The video ends when another semi truck pulls up in the left lane and slows down to avoid the two raging drivers.

Gary Painter, the Midland County Sheriff, says the Hummer driver was the first to call the police after the semi truck driver allegedly threw an empty can out of his cab window, striking the Hummer.

Littering can get a driver up to a $500 fine, but according to Painter, the Hummer was the one “committing numerous violations of the law which he could’ve gone to jail for.”

Painter says the truck driver “didn’t do anything wrong, other than try to get away from a crazy guy.”
