A police officer admitted to driving recklessly on camera after a traffic stop for a trucker’s “unlawful use of horn” got turned around on him.

Since its posting to Youtube, the video has gained nearly two million views and attracted more than 3,000 commenters.

In the clip, the police officer can first be heard speaking to the truck driver, Brian Miner.

“I pulled you over cause the horn. I don’t know what that was about,” the officer says.

“Cause you were speeding and had your cell phone in your hand,” Miner replied.

“Police officers can actually use technology when they’re driving,” the officer responded, asking for Miner’s license and registration.

Miner produces the proper documents and is then questioned about his logbooks, all of which check out.

“I didn’t write you a ticket. I didn’t wanna affect your record,” says the officer upon returning to the truck.

“What I did do….. I did an MCS inspection, violation free,” the officer continues.

“I understand you using the horn… you saw me speeding… I honestly wasn’t paying attention to my speed. You were just trying to help me out… help me… drive safely, so I understand that.”

“We all share the road… You should also be held accountable,” the trucker added.

The police officer never admits to speeding and using his cell phone, but he does admit that Miner was justified in using his horn, and that’s close enough for us.
