A semi truck ended up in a concrete drainage ditch Wednesday after the driver stopped his rig to grab some Whataburger.

The incident occurred at around 9:00 a.m. on June 20th in San Angelo, Texas.

According to San Angelo Live, the truck driver parked his rig in the 200 block of West 18th Street on the east side of Bryant Boulevard and began walking to Whataburger when he suddenly realized his truck was rolling towards the busy street.

The truck driver then made his way to the middle of Bryant Boulevard where he began directing traffic, allowing motorists to avoid his rig as it rolled across the street before eventually rolling through a concrete drainage ditch, coming to a stop with the front wheels of the tractor balancing on one edge of the ditch and the rear ones balancing on the other.

The back end of the trailer was left blocking the inside northbound lanes of Bryant Boulevard and it took crews several hours to remove the big rig from the roadway.

Information regarding citations issued to the trucker, if any, has not been released.
