A truck driver is expected to make a full recovery after the steering on his new semi truck failed, causing him to crash.
The accident happened on Wednesday, September 12th at around 4:00 p.m. in Washington County, Wisconsin.
According to CBS 15 News, the semi truck was traveling on US Highway 45 south near Peasant Valley Road when the truck suffered a “significant failure in the steering system,” causing the rig to drift towards the median before striking the guardrail and bridge pillar, preventing the rig from traveling into oncoming traffic.
Luckily, no other vehicles were involved in the accident and the truck driver suffered only non-life-threatening injuries.
The unnamed driver is expected to make a full recovery and will not be cited.
