A truck driver was arrested Tuesday after pulling out a gun and threatening employees over his impounded semi truck.
The incident happened on Tuesday, August 14th at around 8:22 a.m. in Ellis County, Kansas.
Police Chief Don Schelibler says that the semi truck had been impounded several days earlier at Augie’s Repair and Towing at 506 Vine Street when 29-year-old truck driver, Mitchell W. Dallmann, showed up at the business in his red Ford Mustang.
Upon his arrival, Dallmann exited his vehicle and pulled out a rifle, waving it around and threatening employees before suddenly getting back in his car and driving away reported The Salina Post.
Dallmann was later arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is currently being held in the Ellis County Jail.
“Dallmann is considered innocent until proven guilty by a court of law,” said Scheibler.
