Nebraska State Patrol says that “no one was hurt… just hungry” after a semi truck hauling hot dogs caught fire on an overpass in Nebraska on Saturday morning, shutting down several lanes of traffic and creating backups for several hours.
The accident happened at approximately 6:45 a.m. on July 14th in Omaha, Nebraska.
According to the Omaha World-Herald, the tractor trailer hauling thousands of hot dogs was traveling along the Dodge Expressway near 114th Street when it suddenly caught fire, blocking two lanes of traffic and putting off large amounts of smoke.

The tractor trailer was completely destroyed and caused backups for several hours, but has since been cleared away from the scene.
