A woman known for blocking the path of semi trucks making deliveries to a poultry processing plant in Ohio was arrested earlier this week.
The incident happened on Canton, Ohio on Thursday, June 7th at around 8:00 a.m.
According to The Canton Repository, the 34-year-old unnamed woman was arrested in the 3100 block of Middlebranch Road NE after running into moving traffic and blocking the path of a semi truck attempting to make a delivery to the poultry plant.
The woman is one of the many people regularly found protesting outside the plant in the last few years.
″(She) is a regular participant in the protests at Case Farms and has been warned on previous occasions about blocking traffic and the guidelines to follow for a peaceful protest,” stated the jail records.
The woman, who was taken into custody on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge, was released on her own recognizance, meaning no bond was set, but the woman did have to sign a document promising to appear for court. Her trial has been set for Monday.
