A motorist’s dash cam depicting footage of a semi truck moving into their lane and forcing them into a concrete curb was picked up by a local news station this week, causing the video of the unfortunate incident to go viral.

The incident itself occurred on Sunday morning, June 3rd in Bradley County, Tennessee.

In the clip, the motorist is traveling in the right lane of the highway, closest to the barrier wall, and the semi truck is driving in the lane next to them. A sedan driving in front of the tractor trailer then appears to slow in front of the big rig, forcing the truck driver to take evasive action to avoid a collision.

Unfortunately, in avoiding an accident with the slowing sedan, the big rig struck the car traveling to its right, changing lanes and pushing the vehicle into the concrete barrier.

Following the event, police officers, who say they were unable to confirm if the big rig actually hit the car or caused any damage, filed a miscellaneous report after watching the video.

During the investigation of the incident, the trucking company that employs the truck driver in question said that they had never had an issue with the driver in the past, so he was not issued any citations. However, the miscellaneous report could be used against the unnamed truck driver in the future should he be involved in any more traffic incidents.
