A new Love’s Travel Stop has opened in Oregon, bringing in many new jobs and 72 new truck parking spaces.
The new store is located at 6457 Old Salem Road in Millersburg, Oregon, just take exit 238 off of Interstate 5, and is open 24/7.
The new 8,000 square foot travel stop is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and is already attracting new customers.
“It’s pretty nice, clean, really impressive,” said Clark, a truck driver of 35 years who stopped at the new Love’s after being drawn to “the big sign on the interstate.”
The new location features an Arby’s restaurant, seven showers that run at $12 a session, a Love’s Truck Tire Care center, and laundry facilities, along with the standard Fresh-to-go options, gourmet coffee, fountain drinks, small electronics, and of course the 72 truck parking spots.
“We welcome Love’s to Millersburg as they become our anchor business on the north end of our growing city,” said Jim Lepin, mayor of Millersburg.
“We look forward to building a great relationship with Love’s as we continue to see increasing residential, commercial and industrial growth. They provide a much needed service to our residents, businesses and those traveling the Interstate 5 corridor.”
“This is a soft opening. We will have a grand opening and ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. Aug. 28,” said manager Matt Vitellaro.
“We will open our tire shop in two weeks,” he continued.
“Our tires will be here soon. We’re still looking for mechanics, so if anyone is interested, they can call me at 541-928-1900 or visit our website at www.loves.com/careers.”
“We’re excited to be here. It’s a very good location with easy access on and off the interstate for truckers,” Vitellaro added.
