One man’s rare collection of more than 100 vintage and antique trucks will go up for sale soon in one of the largest auctions of vintage Mack trucks in history.
The auction will be held on Saturday, August 19th at the Ryan Auction Sales Inc. auction site in Henniker, New Hampshire.
According to Truckers News, Stacy Libby, the general manager of Ryan Auction Sales, says the sale will be an absolute auction, meaning no reserves or minimum prices.
Along with many rare vintage and antique Mack trucks, the auction will be selling lots of other large equipment, as well as Mack watch fobs.
Libby says that most of the trucks going up for sale are from just one man’s collection. The trucks belong to Jeff Remillard, who started collecting trucks when he was just 8 years old. Now, he lets his 12-year-old old son collect and restore trucks, so he feels it is time to “thin the herd.”
Ryan Auction Sales expects a “massive, massive crowd,” to flock to the auction site to bid for multiple rare, antique, and vintage Mack trucks and memorabilia.
