An inattentive motorist merged across multiple lanes of traffic, causing a multi-truck wreck that was caught on dash cam.
It happened on a highway in Richmond, Virginia on Thursday, July 27th.
In the clip, a black Toyota sedan enters the highway in the far right lane and crosses over three lanes of traffic, seemingly without looking.
The recording trucker drifts to the left and tries to avoid contact, but is unable to prevent a collision with the distracted Toyota driver.
Another 18-wheeler, coming from behind, attempts to drive on the left shoulder in order to avoid both vehicles, but ends up brushing into the recording truck and striking the black Toyota.
All three vehicles end up coming to a stop on the highway. It’s not known whether any of the drivers were injured in the accident.
