A man was tased after allegedly dancing and using karate moves in the middle of traffic following a wreck in Wisconsin recently.
The accident happened on Wednesday, July 25th at around 6:40 p.m. in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
According to KTVQ News, 30-year-old Jordan Klock was driving along Interstate 43 south near Daphne Road when he attempted to pass a semi truck by driving on the shoulder. As he was doing so, Klock sideswiped the big rig, causing him to ricochet off the concrete barrier wall before colliding with another vehicle.
Klock then exited his car barefoot and tried to climb the semi truck hauling a livestock trailer before running into northbound traffic, where he began dancing and throwing out karate moves.
Police soon arrived and tried to block oncoming traffic from striking Klock, but the man charged the squad. He was then tased and fell to the ground, but promptly jumped up and removed the taser probes from his chest.
Four officers eventually reached the man but police say he was somehow able to throw all four of them off. Police were eventually able to put Klock in wrist and ankle restraints, allowing them to administer a “medication to calm him,” as well as treat a cut above his eye.
Klock was brought to a hospital for evaluation and then transferred to the “special needs” area of the Milwaukee County Jail. Once there, he became even more combative and was returned to the hospital for further treatment.
Klock is currently facing charges of second degree recklessly endangering safety, resisting/obstructing arrest, and his third operating while intoxicated/on drugs offense. His prior two OWI’s were issued in September 2009 and January 2013.
