Love’s opened a new Travel Stop boasting its usual array of amenities, plus 55 truck parking spots, in Louisiana last week.
The new store opened on Thursday, May 17th in Boyce, Louisiana at 7046 Highway 1, and can be reached via exit 94 along Interstate 49.
According to a Love’s Press Release, the 10,000 square foot facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and hosts an Arby’s restaurant. The store also offers the standard snacks, gourmet coffee, soft drinks, electronics, and fresh to-go options. Truckers can also take advantage of the five showers, laundry facilities, Love’s Truck Tire Care center, and 55 truck parking spots.
The new Boyce location marks Love’s ninth travel stop in the state of Louisiana and is expected to bring 50 new jobs to the surrounding community.
“Love’s is happy to bring another location to the state of Louisiana. Boyce is a great location halfway between Interstates 10 and 20 just north of Alexandria, Louisiana. We’re excited to bring the Customer service Love’s is known for to another town,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s.
A ribbon cutting ceremony, during which Love’s will donate $2,000 to a local elementary school, will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd.
