A Fed Ex Freight driver took home the title of Champion at the American Trucking Associations’ 2018 National Truck Driving Championships earlier this month.

The Championship took place on August 18th in Columbus, Ohio.

Scott Woodrome earned the title of Bendix Grand Champion in the Tank Truck division and has been in the industry for 25 years, 12 of them with FedEx Freight, and has earned more that 1.8 million safe driving miles in his lifetime, reported Market Insider.

Prior to this competition, Woodrome had won the Ohio state championship 12 times in 12 years.

Two other FedEx drivers, Michael Flippin and Eric Courville, were also honored with a “highest Written Exam Award,” for achieving the highest scores on the written exam, but were not the only other FedEx drivers who participated in the event.
