A driving school semi truck attempted a U-turn on Monday, busting open its oil pan and leaving a trail of the slick substance all along a busy roadway in California.

The incident happened in Bakersfield, California on the afternoon of July 2nd on South Union Avenue, reported KGET News.

California Highway Patrol reports that the driving school semi truck made a U-turn at South Union Avenue and Highway 223 but encountered some large rocks which in turn ripped open the oil pan, creating a 600 foot long oil spill.

Luckily, no waterways are at risk for contamination.

Officials are still investigating the incident and the driver, as well as the school he was driving for, has not yet been identified.
