$1 million worth of marijuana was discovered hidden amongst a load of lettuce inside a semi truck in Indiana on Wednesday.

The contraband was discovered at 7:32 a.m. on August 8th in Putnam County, Indiana.

Indiana State Police say that a semi truck was traveling east on Interstate 70 when it was stopped for a routine vehicle inspection near mile marker 41. During the initial inspection, troopers noticed “several criminal indicators,” which have not been specified.

As the troopers searched the big rig, they discovered 260 pounds of marijuana hidden within the semi truck’s load of lettuce, which was being hauled from Colorado to Florida, reported ABC News Tampa Bay.

The marijuana has an estimated value of $1 million.

The two truck drivers, 33-year-old Jorge Blanco-Diaz and 40-year-old Adan Labanino Delacruz were arrested and brought to the Putnam County Jail on charges of dealing marijuana.
