A semi truck ended up crashing through the front porch of a home in Illinois after losing control on a nearby highway Monday night.

The crash happened on July 16th at around 10:00 p.m. in Stewardson, Illinois.

According to WAND News, the semi truck was traveling northbound on Route 32 near Main Street when it suddenly veered off the left side of the highway, tearing through a field of beans and part way through a cornfield before striking a house, coming to a stop on the front porch of the residence.

The home sits on Main Street across the street from the Citgo gas station, and belongs to the Durbin family who was home at the time of the incident but no one in the family was hurt in the incident.

The unidentified truck driver was treated for injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.

Information regarding citations issued in the incident, if any, has not been released.
