Yet another trucker has been attacked and robbed at a public rest stop in Wisconsin.

The attack happened on Thursday, September 7th in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, just 4 days after a trucker was jumped by two men in a rest stop in Dodge County, less than 100 miles away.

According to Fox 6, at approximately 6 a.m. on Thursday morning, the Pleasant Prairie Police Department received a call reporting blood inside of a men’s bathroom at the rest stop off Interstate 94 and Highway 165.

Officers arrived at the rest stop and discovered the victim in the parking lot. The 39-year-old trucker had a serious head injury and his wallet had been stolen.

The trucker was taken to a nearby hospital.

Police are on the search for the suspect in the attack, who was caught on a surveillance camera wearing a dark hoodie.

“The distinctive back pockets, kind of the distinctive shoes that he had on. We’re hoping that sticks out to someone,” said Pleasant Prairie Chief of Police, David Smetana.

“This guy is tall. He’s a tall individual,” he added.

Any person with information regarding the attack is asked to call the Pleasant Prairie Police Department at (262)-694-7353 or Kenosha Area Crime Stoppers at (262)-656-7333.
