A giant concrete slab fell off a semi truck and onto a roadway in South Dakota on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened on July 31st at around 9:15 a.m. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
According to Kelo News, the semi truck was traveling on 12th Street when it attempted to enter the on-ramp onto Interstate 29. As the rig was turning, the driver felt the load begin to slip and the 44,000 pound slab fell onto the roadway.
The driver was not injured in the incident, but the roadway was seriously damaged. The unnamed driver was later cited for improper load securement.
