Multiple agencies responded to a semi truck crash in Crockett, California, on Monday.
The crash took place on the afternoon of March 30, 2026.
Local outlet KRON4 reports that a truck driver hauling a load of sugar took a wrong turn and became lost, leading to a crash in a residential area.
According to the Crockett Carquinez Fire Department, “the trailer struck a fire hydrant, pushed two parked vehicles into a garage, and careened down an embankment, coming to rest just before hitting a home on Johnson Avenue in Crockett.”
There were no injuries reported.
Firefighters say they were able to cap the fire hydrant quickly.
Crews worked into the nighttime hours to remove the truck from the area.
