Having a bad dispatcher can turn a good trucking job into a bad one quickly. Or worse, it can turn a bad trucking job into a nightmare.
The folks over at Smart-Trucking.com put together a video about the most common lies dispatchers tell truckers. While the clip is quite funny to watch, in reality, it describes a sad but true experience that many have gone through during their trucking career.
“It seems that dispatchers NEVER seem to run out of lies to tell truckers, in order to get them to do things they don’t want to do…. or better yet, things THEY WON’T GET PAID FOR. Keep an eye on your dispatcher… keep him/her honest. Don’t tolerate a lousy dispatcher, as they can seriously affect your pay and your contentment with your driving job,” Dave from Smart-Trucking.com wrote.
