UPS looking for seasonal semi truck, delivery truck drivers ahead of holiday shipping season

UPS is looking to hire more than 500 people, including drivers, in Wisconsin alone in preparation for the holiday season.

UPS made the announcement on Monday, September 24th, stating that, of the 100,000 seasonal jobs at the company, 500 of them need to be filled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

According to Fox 6 News, 290 driver helpers and 64 tractor trailer and delivery truck drivers are needed at the Oak Creek, Elm Grove, and Sturtevant locations, found at 6800 S 6th St, Oak Creek, WI 53154, 12400 W Bluemound Rd, Elm Grove, WI 53122, and 10204 Hwy 11, Sturtevant, WI 53177 respectively.

Both the semi truck and delivery truck driving positions begin at $18.75 per hour, while the driver-helpers start at $15.00 an hour.
