Two Trucks From The Same Company Crash Within 100 Yards

Interstate 64 near Institute, West Virginia, was closed in both directions due to multiple accidents on Friday afternoon.

Both accidents involved Phoneix-based Swift Transportation and happened within 100 yards of each other, on opposite sides of the highway.

In one wreck, a truck jackknifed and went over an embankment, causing the trailer to partially block the highway.

On the other side, a truck jackknifed causing the cab to overturn, but the trailer remain upright.

Police say wet roads may have been a factor. No one was injured in either wreck.

The highway has since reopened.
