Two semi trucks were knocked off a bridge after getting into an accident in Sandy Springs, Georgia, on Friday morning.
The incident occurred around 11:44 a.m., when the two trucks got into an aciddent while traveling east on Interstate 285. The impact caused both vehicles to plunge off the bridge, and land on the Georgia 400 highway below.
The drivers were briefly trapped inside their vehicles but were safely rescued by firefighters and suffered only minor injures. They were taken to a nearby hospital and are expected to make a full recovery.
According to Fox-5 Atlanta, one of the trucks was hauling 8,000 gallons of fuel, but officials confirmed that there was no fuel leak as a result of the crash.
The highway has reopened, but delays are expected as the cleanup process is still underway.
