Two killed in multiple truck pileup on Interstate 30

Two people were killed in a large pileup involving multiple tractor trailers on Tuesday.

It happened on Tuesday, September 26th at approximately 5 p.m. in Texarkana, Arkansas.

According to KSLA, the wreck occurred near mile marker 3 on Interstate 30. A van and 3 semi trucks were involved in the accident.

The van driver and one truck driver were killed in the crash. The two other truck drivers were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The large crash ended up causing 4 other smaller wrecks.

The identities of the drivers involved have not been released and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

A portion of I-30 was shut down until approximately 8:55 p.m.
