Trucking CEO: Truckers Have Been ‘Systematically And Repeatedly Abused’ By The Industry

In a recent recruiting video for Combined Transport Logistics, their general manager described his take on one of the major issues in the transportation industry.

After being hired as the GM of the company, Tony Keller says he was shocked at the high driver turnover in the industry and set out to find the root cause of the issue.

According to the video, Keller met with the drivers who work for his company and determined that the high turnover was caused by the mistreatment of drivers by the industry, the public, and almost every one else they’re in contact with. He dubbed the condition “abused driver syndrome.”

While it may just be another recruiting video, there is definitely some truth in the video.

If you’ve worked at Combined Transport (or know anyone who has), we want to hear from you. Is the video an accurate representation of the company or just more recruiting hype? Let us know your experiences in the comments below.
