A truck driver suffered injuries during a rollover crash on I-70 in Maryland on Tuesday.
First responders were alerted to a commercial vehicle crash on I-70 near Myersville, Maryland, shortly after 5 a.m. on April 8.
The Frederick News Post reports that the semi truck was hauling a load of solar array batteries eastbound on I-70 when the truck rolled over near Exit 42.
The truck driver was trapped inside of the cab and required extrication by crews from Frederick County (MD) Fire & Rescue.
The truck driver was hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.
A hazmat team responded to the scene to help with batteries damaged in the crash.
