His family, though deeply distraught, are extending forgiveness and hopes the driver comes forward. His wife, Elizabeth, told Fox-2 News: “My Ernest would want us to forgive him. Because he didn’t know better. He didn’t know better! We have to forgive him, that’s the only way we could have peace,”
