The Westwood Police Department uploaded a clip of a box truck striking an overpass on Easy Street in Westwood, Massachusetts. The crash occurs around the 1:10 mark in the video.
Just a few feet away from the overpass are warning signs, indicating the height of the bridge and instructing trucks to turn left. The driver of this truck clearly missed the signs, as he strikes the overpass causing his truck to nearly disintegrate on impact.
The incident occurred on August 20, 2015. According to Westwood PD, there have been more than 10 occurrences of trucks striking this bridge in the last 18 months.
