Ever experienced a tire explosion up close? Seeing a tire blow out the highway is scary enough, but having it happen when your standing just inches from a tire can blow you away — or your pants, literally.
Although this tire was being seated on the rim, and not on a vehicle when it exploded, the force of the explosion can be similar to a blowout on the road.
On a related note, a tire recently blew out next to a man standing a few inches a way, and is now suing the trucking company for $75,000 after claiming physical and psychological damage.
