A 15-year-old girl was behind the wheel of a Nissan Armada with a 9-year-old and 7-year-old passenger, when she failed to stop at an intersection and collided with a semi truck in Pampa, Texas on Wednesday.
The incident occurred near 23rd Avenue and Price Road. After passing a stop sign, the Nissan was struck by a Kenworth semi truck that was headed northbound on Price Road.
The 15-year-old driver and 7-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries. The 9-year-old passenger was ejected from the vehicle on impact and was airlifted to Amarillo hospital with life threatening injuries according to ABC7.
The driver of the semi truck was not injured in the crash. An investigation by the Pampa Police Department is currently underway.
