This Mega-Carrier Just Ordered 900 Brand New Peterbilt Tractors

One of America’s largest trucking companies, Prime Inc., just purchased 900 Peterbilt 579 tractors for its affiliate, Success Leasing.

The director of leasing for Prime, Darrel Hopkins, spoke about the recent transaction. “Peterbilt is a great business partner with a long history of providing Prime with vehicle and support solutions that help us build on our reputation as the industry’s most reliable and competitive carrier,” he said.

The newly purchased Peterbilt trucks are equipped with Paccar MX-13 engines and 80-inch sleepers.

Prime Inc., was founded in 1970 and is based out of Springrfield, Missouri. They are the 2nd largest refrigerated carrier operating in the United States, and one of the largest 50 trucking companies overall.
