A truck driver in Russia was able to stop on a dime and prevent what would have been a disastrous wreck. You can credit the truck driver’s quick instincts, intuition, or brake for the amazing accident prevention. Maybe a combination of all three.
Instead of a tragic wreck, the car gets only a light tap from the big truck as it blindly enters the intersection. A close call wouldn’t even begin to describe it.
There are also rumors floating around that it could be a new attempt of a viral video to promote Volvo’s trucks. After all they are known for their unconventional YouTube marketing sensations, like the time they let a hamster drive a Volvo truck to show off their new power steering.
If that’s the case, they did a pretty good job as the braking in the video is superb and it’s been watched close to a million times in just a month. If it’s not a set-up, then Volvo has some good material for a future commercial.
