A motorist’s foot was run over Thursday after the man left his car to check out a semi truck accident.
The incident occurred at around 7:00 a.m. on August 9th in Williamsburg, Virginia.
According to WAVY News, a semi truck attempted a u-turn on Pocahontas Trail, otherwise known as Highway 60, near the Williamsburg Walmart distribution center when it got stuck, blocking all lanes of traffic.
As police were responding to the scene, a motorist stuck in the backups got out of his vehicle to see what was causing the traffic and a passing vehicle ran over his foot, injuring the unidentified man.
The person’s injuries were not life-threatening but did require medical care.
